Day196 - 198 January 2 - 4, 2023

 Day 196 Monday, January 2, 2023

Back in Clearwater

Danny graciously picked us up at the airport yesterday.  So warm and sunny compared to the weather at home.  Lots of boat arrivals and departures while we were gone.  We shared dock tales with Danny, Susan, Sharon, Grant, Will from Ernest Hemingway, Ellen, Joe, and Jack and Sharon from Sharon K.  Topped off the evening with the Monday hamburger and beer special at Frenchy's (again!).

Day 197 Tuesday January 3, 2023

Today we took advantage of Danny's rental car and headed for groceries, then it was off to the beach for one last time before we leave Clearwater.  We ate tacos on the boat (it was Tuesday) and then played 7's and 5 Crowns on Phil-N-Wild.

Day 198 Wednesday, January 4, 2023

Time to get ready for our departure tomorrow.  Christmas decorations taken down inside and out.  Hardest part was finding a place to stow them.... Jobs done we joined Phil-N-Wild and Lori and Mark from Ottysea at the Salty Cracker.  One last dinner with Karen and Rick where we enjoyed The Columbia one more time. The Columbia is a family run restaurant that has been in business for 117 years serving Spanish and Cuban food.

 Chicken Salteado

 Pollo Manchego

Yummy meal, excellent company! It has been so much fun catching up with them while we've been in Clearwater.

Tomorrow we head to St. Petersburg!  Unfortunately our friends Pete and Linda won't be there until January 15th.

 One last look at Frenchy's
